About

Who we are

Voices of the Waterfront (VOW) is a coalition of Brooklyn residents and organizations concerned about the Brooklyn Marine Terminal development. We came together in late 2024 as community engagement started. We realized the engagement by the Economic Development Corporation and WXY was inauthentic, misleading, and didn’t allow for a democratic participation based design of the BMT.
